News has broken today that Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens has hired only one law clerk for the 2010 Supreme Court session. Over the past two weeks Sweden, Iowa, and Vermont have all legalized same-sex marriage! Sweden and Vermont by legislative action, Iowa by a unanimous state supreme court ruling. The District of Columbia also voted unanimously to recognize marriages and unions from states that offer them.
